GOOD MORNING READERS AND FELLOW BLOGGERS, MAY THIS BLOG FIND YOU IN GREAT SPIRITS!
Today I would like to dedicate my blog to “TBT (TRUTH BE TOLD) THURSDAY”, where I will share some truth about myself to all of you. Starting with the quote above, that is my request from you today and don’t let anyone, anywhere and no matter how they try just remember…..YOU ARE ALL OF THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS! 😉
TRUTH BE TOLD……
“I AM A WORK IN PROGRESS”
Many of us don’t even realize this for a while and when that light turns on, it becomes a totally wake-up experience. Despite my trials…I AM THANKFUL, despite my obstacles….I AM OPTIMISTIC and despite my problems…I GIVE CONSTANT PRAISE! Strength is building up in my soul, I am receptive to all knowledge unknown and plant my seeds in environments that are nourishing. Rome wasn’t built in a day, a child is not born right after conception and definitely GOD ISN’T THROUGH WITH ME YET!
TRUTH BE TOLD…….
“I ACCEPTED MY FLAWS, SO NO ONE COULD USE THEM AGAINST ME”
We are not perfect, but rather “PERFECTLY IMPERFECTION” and we all must embrace everything about us. The moment I understood that my flaws were present in many others, I stopped allowing others to use them on me. Individuals normally judge people on things or issues that they find in themselves. Unfortunately, we find actions like these happen in friendships, relationships and even family members, which is all due to an underlining core problem that needs to be dealt with. A perfect example of accepting your flaws would be, the scene in “8 Mile” where Eminem raps all of his misfortunes in his life and stole the show!
TRUTH BE TOLD……
“MY LIFE IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY”
Some of us choose to insert fictitious stories into are real journey of life, making others believe and later become informed on the truth. This is not the case with my life and the statement above speaks in high reference to myself. In a nutshell, at two days old I was left in a burning apartment..SURVIVED, grew to be an honor roll student through elementary school, dropped out in secondary, birthed four children by the age of 19, homeless and dad not around, married at 25 to not the father, achieved G.E.D., became a widow 10 years later, father passed following year, achieved an Associates degree in Business Administration, four high school graduations (HAPPY MOTHER), five beautiful blessing grandchildren, new found love is MY SUNSHINE, currently working towards finishing my Bachelors and THANKFUL THAT I AM HERE TO SHARE MY TRUE STORY!
