GOOD MORNING READERS AND MAY THIS BLOG FIND YOU IN GREAT SPIRITS!

Today I will dedicate my blog to “WISE MEN WEDNESDAY”, where I will turn the focus from the great women to some very WISE MEN. With a common talent of great thinkers, MARTIN LUTHER KING JR., BARACK OBAMA & MALCOLM X have shared much wisdom to their people and the world. Therefor I would like to elaborate on a few of their most popular quotes!

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

“I HAVE A DREAM….”

To have the ability to envision better days and times, this man surely had some great premonitions. Unfortunately he was right when he predicted that he might not see it with us and he still continued to fight for rights. I relish the moment when I can have such compassion and sincerity for others, which is exactly why he is one of the greats in our lifetime. Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream, that paved the road for many of us to even dream and I ask you…….WHAT IS YOUR DREAM? Have you moved toward on your desires and wants, despite your setbacks? This is what Dr. King wanted us all to heed and learn. The will to persevere in all challenges in your life, is the needed tool to jump and get started. With his road long, loads so heavy, heart just wounded…..HE HAD A DREAM AND IT WAS GOING TO MANIFEST, EVEN IF IT KILLED HIM. Thank you Martin Luther King, for passing on such a phenomenal and inspiring quest for freedom and equality!

BARACK OBAMA

“WE ARE THE CHANGE THAT WE SEEK……”

A change has come and what once was something that seemed impossible, becomes our reality and I thank you much Barack Obama. This man entered a bias community and  environment, when he became President and did it with so much grace. This man and his wife, did more mentally and emotionally for many of us in our nation, than some other Presidents couldn’t even illuminate. The motto of hope and change for our country, a couple who has a family and knows the importance of that, didn’t entertain controversial issues because they were not important and just plain ole CARED FOR OUR COUNTRY, are the qualities that this man and his family possessed. Barack Obama spoke from his heart, talked with concern, maneuvered with substance and kept God in his life. He is correct when he initiated that America is the change we seek and at first I was baffled, but eventually I was able to understand the point. Not only did his Presidency make history, he was reelected and left with his family from the White House untouched, a black man, you go brother. It was an honor and a blessing to have you as our President, thank you for your services, SINCERELY!!

MALCOLM X

“A MAN WHO STANDS FOR NOTHING, WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING!”

This man most definitely stood for what he believed in and that is why he was such a major influence to his community. Not only did he stand up, but he was willing to do it on his own and by any means necessary. With a voyage over seas, he found more of what his destiny entailed and refused to allow fear to stop him. Many felt as if he knew that his life was threatened and he was adamant to continue on the fight, despite the evil that stalked him. I would have loved the opportunity to just have a conversation with this man, because I know that it would have had an impact and everlasting effect on myself. Over the years, I have gained much information and knowledge about his life and legacy. Therefor understanding that he is an individual whom I won’t be able to encounter, I am satisfied that he left a mark of intelligence on our society. We all have been blessed with his wisdom and words, that are still sounding in the air toward a continued fight for human rights!

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY “WISE MEN WEDNESDAY” AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, BE SAFE AND HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!
