YOU ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU APPEAR AND YOU HAVE MORE TO OFFER THAN YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE!
GOOD MORNING READERS AND FELLOW BLOGGERS, MAY THIS BLOG FIND YOU IN THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL SPIRITS!
Why do many of us become depressed over how we look? Why don’t they want me? What do they have that I don’t? What can I do to look that way? Why do I feel like this? Why am I fat? Why I am I skinny? Why don’t I look that good? Why do I look so bad?………… STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT…..CHANGE THAT MENTALITY AND ASK BETTER QUESTIONS!
Not only from a personal experience, but also from a stand point of witnessing these low self-esteem mentalities, have I heard these exact same questions. Now when we begin to change that frame of thinking and actually fill our minds up with affirmations, will we then view these changes in our life. In a society where sexual objectification is visible everywhere, many feel as if this is the goal to achieve or accomplishment to make. Each of us were made uniquely in our own mold and meant to be who we were created to be. That’s why today I choose to dedicate my blog to “SUNDAY SOUL FOOD”, where my efforts will be aimed at showing you how your physical appearance doesn’t determine you achieving your goals. In addition, I will share how loving yourself as you are can feed your soul and not allow your ego to focus solely on your looks.
“A CIRCLE OF STRENGTH AND LOVE”
You are who you are and were made to look exactly how you do, therefor no outside entity should be able to tamper with your self-esteem. The body you were given, was precisely designed according to your mixture of genes and no one else was created to that identical. Even identical twins have some sort of distinction that differs one from the other. When you think about your whole body as one; from the head to the toe and all elements in between, this is your individual “CIRCLE OF STRENGTH AND LOVE”. What does that mean to you? Well all of that compassion, generosity, intelligence, creativity, respectfulness, empathy, sympathy and all your physical features, is your entire mind, body and soul. As you watch, observe, view, notate and mimic others and how they are made, you will find yourself drowning in depression. Embrace you and don’t study on mastering an outside image, because the initial point of beauty starts from within.
“FOUNDED IN FAITH”
The things you begin to believe and think about, are more likely to illuminate in your actions. When you feel bad about yourself and the way you look, your jealousy and insecurities begin to show. But to start with a belief of you are something great and wonderful, those affirmations will shine bright on your face and release off that exact energy. This first step is the meaning of “FOUNDED IN FAITH”, because that is that seed of positive energy that you planted within you. Your ability to believe that you are beautiful on the inside and everything you do is surrounded around you growing, only fuels your self-esteem and confidence. Don’t ever look for this type of validation or clarity from outside sources, but rather begin with a knowing of who you are and love you for it.
“JOINED IN LOVE”
The strength that resides in you is physical and mental, which aides in dealing with life trials and tribulations. Your soul is strengthen through your thoughts and belief, which coincides between your physical and mental. When these elements come together through inspiration and encouragement for thy self, this is the meaning of “JOINED IN LOVE”. As you take the initiative to feed your thoughts affirmations like I Am Beautiful, I Am Smart, I Am Good Enough and anything that states loving views of yourself, you begin to feel like that. Take your physical strength and get in shape, aimed toward the physical appearance you desire. Utilize your mental strength and don’t listen to any negative thoughts that your ego shares. Listen to your heart and feed your soul with only things of love, to fertilize your seeds of positive energy you planted.
“DON’T BE EYE CANDY, BE SOUL FOOD”
Anyone can look good and catch someones attention with their good looks, but beauty is an element that is meaningful from the inside first. From models, video vixens, celebrities, socialites, selfie stars and just drop dead gorgeous and fine as hell…..you must love you despite how others look. Don’t allow yourself to just be the made up image of attachments and accessories, but rather be an individual who illuminates such grace and compassion to all that you encounter. I would want to accompany people who lift my spirits, encourage my talents, motivate my ambitions and give off such great positive energy. You can be very attractive and not be stimulating with it, is the meaning of “DON’T BE EYE CANDY, BE SOUL FOOD”. When someone spends more time on how their exterior looks and not even attempt to work on their interior, the good looks will be the only thing that comes with this individual. Wouldn’t you like to be more than just that? I know I do and that is why on a daily I feed my soul and not focus on looking like an image on the outside. My pure genuine personality shows in my actions and conversations, that doesn’t include accessories or attachments!
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY “SUNDAY SOUL FOOD” AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, BE SAFE AND HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!
