With an understanding of what it means to be and the things you encounter as a single mom, I am totally there with you all. Being such a sensitive and delicate subject, raising children alone can be very challenging and difficult, all while being one of the best lessons we will learn in life. We don’t plan this actual result out first, it just seems to be something that many females find themselves in once they become mothers. They think to themselves, how did we go from being so in love everyday, to you just walking out not on me but rather your child. Understanding that this isn’t a male bashing blog, I want to focus solely on how the single moms strength is impeccable and pay tribute to you all as you take care of your children with love and grace. As a single mother, we face daily issues and tasks alone that can put many of us in a state of depression or frustration. From food, shelter and clothing, the priorities that need tending to becomes overwhelming and great loads. Since we love our children unconditionally, we do it all and will protect them with every drop of blood in our system. We carry a whole living species inside our belly for nine months, spend the first two years of our little joys of life teaching many lessons, carry worry and concern for their safety and security every minute of the day and then watch them grow up right before your eyes, only for them to throw in your face how grown they are, MY BABIES! There is even more glory and praise for all the beautiful grandchildren that they bless you with and this is a wonderful feeling that brings much gratitude. I just wanted you to know that I am one of the ones who knows up close and personal the obstacles and fulfillment you get from motherhood. It isn’t fair to do it alone, especially when the act requires two, but know that this is the ultimate description of strength that you have embodied on your own. We are a community that may be looked at with pity, but that is far from what we use to keep going for the sake of our children.
TO ALL YOU SUPER MOMS, SINGLE MOTHERS UNITED, YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB AND THIS SINGLE MOM WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT!
